The quietness around campus signals Spring Break has officially begun, but for more than 100 students coaches, the academic break is the perfect time to take advantage of training trips and competition. With groups traveling throughout the country and staying close to home train, the spring athletic season will be off to a great start. Check out a preview of each of the trips below.
USS/FIS Alpine Skiing

Snowboard/Freeskiing
Coaches Dillon Mailand and Kyle Desmarais are leading a group of students in training on Cooper Mountain in Colorado. Follow their adventures on Instagram HERE.
Girls Lacrosse
Under the direction of first-year head coach, Callie Dwyer, the Girls Lacrosse team will stay local to train and prepare for the upcoming season. Excitement levels are high for the direction the program is heading and for the upcoming season. Follow the team on Instagram this season HERE.
Boys Lacrosse
The Boys Lacrosse program will head to sunny Clearwater, Florida for a week of training and two scrimmages. This year's squad is led by first-year head coach, Zach Zavalick, and will look to build on the foundation from the spring training trip throughout the season. Prior to the team's scrimmage against Asheville Academy on March 18th, Proctor Director of Alumni Relations, Lauren Smith, is hosting an event for alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends of Proctor. Baseball
Coaches Mark Tremblay and Matt Braley '17 are excited about the upcoming season and the group of baseball players heading to Tampa, Florida for spring training. The team will mostly train at Tampa Prep but will travel to Clearwater, Florida to scrimmage against KUA on March 18th.
