As we prepare for our week in Vienna, every student has been having a breakthrough with his or her style of art.

From making beautiful sketches in their carnet, making a leather cover for their books or even throwing away the normal usage of a paint brush and instead using a pallet knife.  The term long project which is becoming more and more beautiful every day is the Art History book project. People have been working night and day to make something so simple and turning it into a beautiful thing. For the last couple of weeks that we have been in France, the wind has been ferocious, making it cold and hard to work outside because of the moving paper and worrying about making the littlest mistakes, messing the full project up. For this week the wind stopped, and everyone took the opportunity to take full advantage of the nice weather. Last Friday Sarah and I were given a task or challenge to not use a paint brush. I had been too critical and not giving the painting enough color and instead making it just big blobs of color. I know people are going to make even better art when we are in Vienna.

Below, all of us have three representative works of art made thus far on Euro. Enjoy.
