Three times a week we gather in the Wilkins Meeting House for an all-school assembly. The agenda for assembly varies each day, however, the purpose remains clear: come together as an entire community to hear announcements, spend intentional face-to-face time together, connect with advisories, and remind ourselves that we are in this journey of learning together, as an entire community, even though we are often going a million directions on our own.
Committing to Community: Building a Culture
Sep 12, 2022 5:56:16 PMWhen we truly commit to something, we deeply invest ourselves in it. We see a greater purpose in our work, in our connections, in the lifting of each other up. Through little, daily actions, we show others what it means to be a part of a community, to be a part of something bigger than ourselves.
The Journey: The Power of the Word
May 6, 2022 7:53:27 AMAs we prepare to close out on the 2021-2022 school year, one thing stands out to me as I think about what makes Proctor uniquely Proctor. Certainly, more so than any school where I have been or even schools that I have known from a distance. Affective connections and compassion matter.
Assembly and the Power of Community
Jan 12, 2022 11:48:18 AMThe first year of pandemic life saw us toggle back and forth between in-person and virtual learning. The same goes for the building of community and our twice a week all-school assembly.
