Proctor Academy European Art Classroom Art Immersion Program

Throughout our first week of being here in Vauvenargues, France has been extraordinary. Our group has gotten so close within a short period of time and the memories we have made so far are enlightening.

The feeling of waking up and looking out the window to see mountains and red tiled provincial roofed homes is an experience you don't get everyday.

The delicious and various foods we try is just one perk of being on this off campus program.

Another perk are the museums and our chances to see famous paintings, from Paul Cézzane, Picasso, Monet, and more.

We have also seen ancient societal remains, statues, sculptures, architecture, numerous churches, chapels, cathedrals, a Roman colosseum, theatre and recently discovered ancient ruins in Aix-en-Provence.

In all, this first week has  been amazing and we can’t wait to see what Jen and Dave have in store for us next.
