The long-awaited admissions decision date for the independent school world has arrived. Emails were sent to all 600+ applicants at 6:00 PM this evening notifying each prospective student of our Admissions Team’s decision. We are incredibly excited about the group of individuals we have chosen to make up the Proctor Community for the 2018-2019 school year!

Proctor USSA/FIS Program Update | Spring 2018
Mar 7, 2018 9:56:04 AMCampus is quiet as an early March Nor’easter marches up the coast today (our skiers are excited for the anticipated snowfall of well over a foot forecasted in Andover). Spring sports begin in two weeks (with four spring teams traveling to warmer weather for spring training trips next week), but in the meantime, Proctor’s USSA/FIS ski program’s 40+ skiers are entering their busiest stretch of the season as March Championship Series are upon us. After a record-setting season, Proctor’s skiers look to continue their strong performance on the national stage over the coming weeks. Read more about Proctor’s USSA/FIS program and their results this winter below.
Campaign for Proctor: Field House Construction Update
Mar 2, 2018 3:14:22 PMStudents depart for Spring Break today as we close out the Winter Term on campus. The past three months have seen remarkable work done in the classrooms, in art studios, on stage, in the dorms, and on the court/ice/hills by students and faculty. The winter has also been a time of transformation for the Farrell Field House as renovations continue within The Campaign for Proctor.
Spring Break Athletics 2018
Mar 1, 2018 9:42:25 PMAs most of our students depart for Spring Break, we look ahead to the month of March and the six spring break training trips taking place. Lacrosse, baseball, and softball teams head to warmer weather to get a jump start on the spring season, while USSA/FIS and Freeride skiers and snowboarders continue to train, ride, and race throughout the month. Check out a preview of each of the trips below to learn more about Proctor's preseason and post-season training opportunities for athletes.
Proctor Athletics: Girls' Basketball NEPSAC Tournament Preview
Feb 27, 2018 9:46:39 AMProctor’s girls’ varsity basketball team has earned a NEPSAC Tournament bid for the fifth straight year. The two time defending Class C champions will host #7 Brewster Academy on Wednesday, February 28th for a first round quarterfinal game. As the team prepares for their third match-up with Brewster of the season, they know they are in for a battle as the two teams split during the regular season, each winning on the opposing team’s home court.
Academic Lens: Finding A Voice
Feb 26, 2018 2:42:07 PMOften, when difficult issues arise and injustice brushes our lives in the most personal of ways, we feel empowered to speak our minds. Finding the right medium to be heard is as much a challenge as finding the words to speak. Our responsibility as adults in this learning community called Proctor is to both model and encourage respectful dialogue that challenges the status quo while not compromising the integrity of our relationships with others within the community.
Proctor Arts: Appreciating the Creative Process
Feb 24, 2018 7:05:53 AMSometimes we forget how much talent surrounds us in this tight knit school community. We see faces walk by on the paths, interact with students in classes, advisory, at meals, and in the dorms, and just know them as regular kids. And then they step foot on the stage, the court, the ice, or the hill and a whole different set of talents are exposed. Whether it was Annie performing an original song at the Jazz/Rock Ensemble, Logan showcasing his growth as a vocalist at the choral concert, Cooper and the cast putting on a remarkable performance in the winter play, or countless students displaying their artwork at the Winter Art Show, the past week reminded us how talented our student body is, how passionate our arts faculty are, and how much this community values the intersection of the arts with academics, athletics, and afternoon program.
Proctor Athletics: Winter 2018 Award Winners
Feb 23, 2018 10:00:00 AMWhile the winter athletic season is not officially over (hockey and basketball teams await NEPSAC playoff bids, Nordic skiers compete at the NEPSAC Championship at the Proctor Ski Area Saturday, and USSA/FIS skiers continue to race until late March), we celebrated the collective work of coaches, students, and the athletic department during Friday's assembly. Hosting and traveling to over 300 different games/races/competitions, running daily practices, coordinating buses for fifteen different teams, and sharing scores and highlights from various programs requires considerable effort by Proctor's athletic department and coaching staff.
