Mike's Notes: Moments That Inspire

Jan 16, 2015 8:51:46 AM

The moment that inspires: Patriots, Rangers, or a JV Girls’ Hockey Team?

The New England Patriots and their defeat of the Ravens was a contest described by Bill Pennington of the NYT as, “…a malevolent affair that seems to put both teams in a foul mood.” Still, the Patriots thrilled their fans with yet another Brady engineered comeback last Saturday with trick plays and tricky line-ups. A berth in the A.F.C. Championship game was secured just about the same time Proctor’s JV Girls’ game was winding down at Proctor.

Mike's Notes: November 14, 2014

Nov 14, 2014 9:00:00 AM

Recently, a New Yorker article caught my eye.  “Better All the Time” by James Surowiecki  (November 10th) is about the relentless investment in athletic performance that has brought staggering evolution to all games and changed the threshold of what we thought as possible. While every athlete has improved over the course of the season, team awards recognize those individuals whose outstanding contributions through leadership, sportsmanship, or ability made a significant impact on the team’s success this fall.
