The following press release was shared with us by ReVision Energy. ReVision has been crucial to Proctor's investment in renewable energy infrastructure on campus over the past three years. After our most recent installations, Proctor now offsets more than 25% of its energy consumption through solar production, and alternative energy supplies 100% of the school’s electric load.

Reilly Walsh '17 Selected to US Hockey U-17 National Team

Reilly Walsh ‘17 has been selected to join the U-17 U.S. Hockey National Team to play in the Four Nations Tournament in Puchov, Slovakia from December 13-21. Walsh, a junior defenseman for Proctor’s boys’ varsity hockey team will be one of twenty players, and seven defensemen, representing the United States in games against Slovakia, Switzerland, and Russia over the coming week.

On December 6th, deer hunting season came to a close in New Hampshire, and that means that running on the Proctor woodlands trails becomes a slightly different endeavor. Gone are the orange hats or the reflective vests strapped on dogs. Gone is the worry of taking a high trail along Ragged or even one of the Nordic trails across the river. Running becomes a little simpler once again.

Not only is the Proctor Ski Area open for business, but Nordic skiers, USSA/FIS racers, and Freeride skiers and snowboarders have traveled the globe to find early season terrain. 

Mountain Classroom: The Journey Begins

Proctor Academy's Mountain Classroom program begins its 43rd year of students and instructors setting out on a life-changing journey across the American Southwest. This winter's Mountain Classroom group, along with instructors Coco Loehr '07 and Timbah Bell, have made their way from Eagle Pond in Wilmot, New Hampshire to Buffalo, New York and just yesterday morning departed Foxhollow Farm in Louisville, Kentucky bound for Clarksdale, Mississippi and a week of canoeing.
